Everton currently sit in seventh in the Premier League and are 11 points behind league leaders Manchester City but the journeyman forward believes that Everton are in the title race and he thinks Everton fans believe that too.
Clinton stated today on Soccer Saturday that he believes Everton are within reaching distance of the title this season with their two games in hand and was confident enough to say it on Sky.
A very bold claim that very few fans would agree with and even Everton fans seemed to be disagreeing with the pundit in replies to this clip.
Everton face Manchester United away at Old Trafford tonight at 8pm and if Carlo Ancelotti’s side don’t come away with a win against the second placed team Manchester United then it’s hard to see them contesting with Manchester City.
