(Video) Chelsea players show off precision finishing skills in training

Videos of footballers training with their clubs are always a good insight into how players are feeling ahead of a matchday and judging by the following video, it looks as though some of the Chelsea players are feeling good ahead of this weekend.

The Blues face West Ham United at 12:30 on Saturday as they look to boost their position in the league table, where a win could take them above Fulham into 8th, while the Hammers desperately need a win to pull themselves clear of the relegation zone. However, if the Chelsea players can take their chances in the match like they’ve just done in training, David Moyes’ team could be in trouble.

The Blues’ new signing Mykhailo Mudryk stepped up, taking a loose first touch but redeeming himself by hitting a dipping shot into the top right corner, the ball clipping the post on its way in.

Mason Mount then took centre stage, putting his effort in the same spot as Mudryk, hitting the ball as sweet as a nut, before Enzo Fernandez went top left, leading Eddie Beach stranded in goal.

Joao Felix rounded off the entertainment for the afternoon, with a more central effort but an unsaveable one, as it clipped the bar, bouncing down and up into the roof of the net.

It’s safe to say the fans will be expecting some ruthlessness up top at the weekend, so let’s wait and see if the players can deliver when it matters most.
