Eagle-eyed viewers spotter Wesley Fofana apparently reading a note just moments before Real Madrid scored their second goal.
Chelsea was humbled at the Bernabeu Stadium on Wednesday night, losing 2-0 and getting Ben Chilwell sent off for a last-man-back foul.
This leaves Frank Lampard’s side in the unenviable position of having to win by more than two goals against the reigning European Champions at Stamford Bridge next week.

A viral video emerged after the game showing Chelsea defender, Fofana, reading what looked like a note just moments before Real Madrid scored.

Fans were not happy with this and later the young defender on social media.
“I’ve never seen anything like it. He’s reading a note in the middle of a set piece. Real must have thought it was Christmas Day” said one fan.
