Wow, what a story. Charles Oliveira TKO’ed Michael Chandler last night to become the new UFC lightweight champion.
Do Bronx had been fighting in the UFC for more than a decade, but never previously had a championship belt around his waist.
Oliveira fought Michael Chandler for the vacant title, with Chandler himself off the back of a TKO win over Dan Hooker.
Having survived a first round scare, during which it looked as though Oliveira was going to be finished himself, he recorded a devastating TKO win over Chandler in the second.

Do Bronx landed a combination of punches, smelling blood after realising he had hurt Chandler and moving in to finish the job.
With Chandler unable to find a reply to the onslaught of punches landing on his face, the referee stepped in and stopped the contest, crowning Oliveira the new UFC lightweight champion.
