It is not unusual to see teams tactically position towels along the sideline, so that players can dry the ball or their hands before taking a throw in.
But what if there is no towel?
Weston McKennie, the American and Juventus midfielder found himself in this exact situation in the first half against England. Instead of just carrying on with a normal throw in or just grabbing a new ball, he decided instead to improvise.

Luckily enough, the camera man didn’t seem to mind.
