Birmingham City has outdone themselves by announcing Kevin Long’s arrival with an incredibly funny and creative ‘Home Alone’ themed video.
The Irish defender joins Birmingham from Burnley after a disappointing six months for the 32-year-old.

The club decided that the best way to announce the signing was to use an iconic clip from the classic Christmas movie ‘Home Alone’.

Long expressed his excitement to play for Birmingham during his first interview with his new side.
“I am really looking forward to it, to be honest. It has been a tough season for me personally at Burnley. Being at Burnley has been a big part of my career since I moved to England at 19 and it has just felt like the right time to move on.” Long told the club.
“Birmingham is a massive club and I am really excited to be here.
“I don’t like describing myself to be honest. From people I’ve been speaking to, that’s probably how they’d describe me [commanding centre-half]. I think I communicate well, try to be a leader on the pitch, and hopefully that’s what I can do.”
