WWE legend Bill Goldberg made yet another return to the WWE during Monday Night Raw’s Legends Night and challenged Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.

The build up to the return came in the form of a main event match between Keith Lee and Drew McIntyre.
Lee put up a good fight but unfortunately was not able to defeat McIntyre who finally pinned Lee after a barrage of heavy blows.
McIntyre’s celebrations were short lived because as soon as he was declared the victor, Goldberg’s music erupted and the big man himself appeared and made his way down to the ring.

Goldberg made his way straight over to McIntyre and issued a challenge for a shot at the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Goldberg made his return to professional wrestling on June 7, 2015 at the Legends of Wrestling show where he came to the aid of Rob Van Dam by performing a spear on Scott Steiner and a Jackhammer on Doc Gallows.
The WWE Hall of Fame made a second return on January 23rd 2016, at another Legends of Wrestling event in Miami, where he delivered another spear to Steiner after his match with Chavo Guerrero.
