Kylian Mbappe scored two quickfire goals to rescue his side and send the World Cup final into extra time.
Kylian Mbappe’s importance to this French side was abundantly on show in the final of the Qatar World Cup. Of course, there were his goals, without which, Lionel Messi would already be celebrating his first-ever success in the competition. However, perhaps more striking was the care that the 23-year-old received during b before the commencement of extra time.
Footage showed three French physios all attending to Kylian Mbappe to ensure the young forward was ready for action, whilst the rest of his teammates were left standing. To be fair to Mbappe, he had more than earned it.

The final may have ended in defeat for France, but Mbappe has proven to the world that he is more than ready to be handed the torch from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
