An upset is already on the cards in the 12 o clock FA Cup kick off with National League side Chorley currently in the lead against Championship side Derby.
An outbreak of Covid-19 in the Championship club means that Wayne Rooney and his first team were unable to travel to the FA Cup clash leaving Chorley playing against a mixture of youth players.
A scrappy bit of play from Chorley from a corner meant Derby were unable to clear the ball out of the box with the ball bouncing from player to player before bouncing into the back of the Derby net. Wayne Rooney will not be happy watching this game from home as the outbreak of Covid could have ruined his chances at a miracle FA Cup run.
Can Derby’s youth players bring this back or will Chorley be able to hold onto this 1 goal lead?
