This really was one of Roy Keane’s worst moments as a pro in this writers opinion an awful and disgusting tackle, that caused serious damage to Alf-Inge Håland’s career in the professional game.

It happened in the Manchester Derby Manchester United vs Manchester City where the Cork man received a straight red. The tackle and action from Roy Keane was provoked over a previous tackle made by Håland when he was playing for Leeds United the year before. Keane remembered that incident and made sure to get his ‘payback’ on Håland when he faced him next. See it below;

Roy Keane is now working as a pundit on Sky Sports and quite a good pundit adding a lot to the Sky Sport coverage. Roy Keane also had a spell with Sunderland and Ispwich as their managers and was also assistant to Martin O’Neill with Ireland. Where as Alf-Inge Håland is nearly more known for his son now in Erling Haaland who looks like one of the hottest prospects in world football at present.
