Cristiano Ronaldo has become the joint highest goalscorer of all time after the Juventus striker scored his 759th official goal of his career against Sassuolo in the Serie A on Sunday.
Ronaldo scored his record breaking goal in the 92nd minute of Juve’s 3-1 victory over Sassuolo which leaves the Portuguese international just one goal away from breaking Josef Bican’s record.
The record breaking goal was Ronaldo’s 84th for Juventus in 106 appearances – which when added to his 450 for Real Madrid, 118 for Manchester United, 102 for Portugal and five for Sporting Lisbon – brings Ronaldo’s total to a staggering 759 official goals.
