Quotes from Napoli’s Victor Osimhen have resurfaced from a couple of years ago where he reveals who his idol is.
The Nigerian striker was playing for Lille at the time and spoke about the time he faced Chelsea in the Champions League and how excited he was once he finished playing the match at Stamford Bridge.
“I called all my friends that I was on the pitch because I was beyond happy to be on the grass at Stamford Bridge where my idol Drogba scored many goals. I cherished the moment.”
Osimhen has always been open about how Drogba is his favourite player, saying to the Independent that him and his mates “used to watch Didier Drogba all the time back home.”

Osimhen’s electric form this season has seen him linked with Chelsea, as the Blues continue their eagerness to boost their squad going into next season.
