🚨 Update: Liverpool vs. Manchester United match decision made

The game had been in doubt following snow in the city making travelling conditions dangerous.

Liverpool City Council’s safety advisory committee met today to make a decision on whether Liverpool v Manchester United can go ahead.

And much to the dismay of Manchester United fans the games is ON!

Liverpool Football club released a statement confirming the game is on.

‘Today’s fixture against Manchester United will go ahead as planned. Two safety meetings were held earlier to assess the weather and travel conditions.

We thank everyone involved in helping us to get this game on today. If you’re travelling to Anfield then please take extra care. We look forward to seeing you there.’

Liverpool come into the game five points clear of second place Arsenal, but with two games in hand and are big favourites to win their second Premier League title.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have struggled badly and sit in an embarrassing 14th place in the table.
