Manchester United fans have well and truly turned against Mason Greenwood, with some filming themselves BURNING his shirt, reports The Sun.
Greenwood was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of rape and assault. That was later extended to sexual assault and threats to kill after further investigations by Greater Manchester Police, which included the three-day questioning of the player himself.
Manchester United have informed Greenwood that he will not be allowed to train or play for the club while under investigation, despite having been released on bail on Wednesday.
His guilt is yet to be formally determined and he remains innocent until proven otherwise, but that hasn’t stopped some Man United fans from washing their hands with him.

As is reported by The Sun, Man United supporters have swiftly returned their Greenwood jerseys to the official club store in order to exchange them for a new player, a service which was offered by the club free of charge.
Others have gone to even greater lengths to show their disgust with the rape-accused forward, as is included in the report.
