Unai Emery was NOT happy with Emiliano Martinez’s decision during Arsenal lossšŸ˜¬

Unai Emery didnā€™t approve of his goalkeeper going up for a corner during the final moments of their game against Arsenal.

The Gunners got one over against their former manager with a dramatic late win at Villa park. Mikel Artetaā€™s side came from behind twice and eventually went on to win the game 4-2 thanks to two goals in extra time.

Jorginho scored the first, a sensational out-of-the-boot shot that hit the post and bounced off the flailing Aston Villa goalkeeper, rolling into the back of the net.

Then keen to make up for the own goal, Martinez ran into the opposing box for a corner only to be caught on the hop as Gabriel Martinelli tapped into an open goal on the other side of the pitch.

Speaking after the game, Emery admitted that he did not like this decision from his shot-stopper.

ā€œHe decided himself to go up. They are the protagonists but I told him I donā€™t like it!,ā€ he said.

ā€œI told him thatā€¦ Maybe [goalkeepers] can score in the history one or two times, thereā€™s more goals scored against you. [We] wasted more time than I want.ā€
