Nurmagomedov, 32, is best known for his mixed martial arts performances after a stunning career has seen the Dagestan wrestler go 29 bouts unbeaten.
However, MMA is not the only sport the talented fighter loves – Nurmagomedov is also a self-confessed lover of football.
The fighting superstar was even offered a professional football contract earlier this year; an offer he appears not to have taken up.
After retiring from professional mixed martial arts last year following his title defence against Justin ‘The Highlight’ Gaethje, there have been relentless rumours the 32-year-old could make a shock comeback.
Despite UFC president Dana White continually trying to convince Nurmagomedov to return to the octagon, the 155lb champion has so far failed to sign on the dotted line.
Whilst seemingly enjoying his new-found freedom, the pound-for-pound great is set to attend the Nou Camp later on Tuesday.
Despite still being embroiled in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Nurmagomedov has somehow managed to bag a ticket to Barcelona’s last-16 knockout tie against Paris-Saint Germain in this season’s Champions League.
Ahead of the mouth-watering clash, Nurmagomedov has made it very clear which side he’ll be cheering on.
