Leeds United’s Tyler Adams says he has been blown away by new signing Georginio Rutter since his arrival at Elland Road.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, Adams said that he believes 20-year old Rutter has what it takes to be a success at the Yorkshire club after his big-money move from Hoffenheim.
“Against Accrington Stanley, I could see right away he has the qualities to succeed here. I had the opportunity to play against him in the Bundesliga. I was always wondering who is this kid, where is he from? I see it in training.”
Adams then highlighted some of the qualities he sees in the Frenchman, highlighting how crucial he can be for Leeds.
2️⃣ Javi Gracia sufficiently impressed by Georginio Rutter on Tues night that he's considering pairing him with Patrick Bamford this wkend. Used Troy Deeney (conventional No. 9) & Gerard Deulofeu (supporting forward) in a similar fashion at Watford. #lufc https://t.co/gcRE8enBC3

“He’s comfortable under pressure, he can play with both feet. He’s not afraid to go at you. Those are the kind of attackers you want, you want guys that are going to keep defenders on their heels.I’m sure’s going to be an important player for us.”
Leeds face Chelsea this weekend, looking to do the league double over the blues for the first time since 1992.
