The Miami Dolphins take on the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day, as Tua Tagovailoa and Aaron Rodgers go head-to-head for the first time ever.
The pair spearhead their respective teams, who remain in their own fights to make the playoffs in just a few weeks’ time.
Speaking to the media before the game this Sunday, Rodgers and Tua spoke glowingly of each other.
“I enjoy the way Tua plays, he throws the ball accurately, does a really nice job with his eye control for a young player,” said Rodgers.
“I like the way he handles himself, he does it with a lot of respect and class.”
Tua resembled a wide eyed-child when speaking about Rodgers, saying: “I’ve got to watch this guy play ever since I was little. It’s really cool, I turn into a fan at times.
Tua Tagovailoa had high praise for #Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, admitting that he was one of his biggest fans growing up. Now the two face off on #ChristmasDay. #nfl #GoPackGo #FinsUp #GBvsMIA pic.twitter.com/vuKWPXt2C8

“Having to against someone like him and seeing him across the field, it is going to be awesome.”

A win for either team would push them that little bit closer to a playoff spot with just three weeks left of the regular season.
Packers @ Dolphins is one of two Christmas Day games in the NFL, with the LA Rams taking on the Denver Broncos in the day’s other game.
