Tottenham make bizarre decision to SNUB free transfer deal for world-class household name

Tottenham have reportedly SNUBBED the opportunity to sign free agent Paolo Dybala.

Dybala is one of the biggest names on the free-agent market this summer having decided to leave Juventus at the end of his contract.

The Argentine is a HUGELY talented former Serie A MVP, and at 28-years-old, he’s right at the absolute peak of his footballing powers.

The expectation was that Dybala could walk into any top club on the planet – but perhaps not. As per the Daily Mail, even SPURS have rejected him.

The report claims that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham were offered the opportunity to sign Dybala but were put off by his sky-high wage packet.

As per the tabloid, Dybala is demanding an eye-watering £280k-a-week in order to sign a contract with any interested party.

Of course, that is extortionate, but considering Spurs were willing to pay £60m+ for him upfront a few years ago, what’s changed?

Dybala could be the perfect player to compliment Harry Kane and Son Heung-min – but for whatever reason, Conte is NOT a fan.

It’s hard to imagine that Tottenham supporters will be on board with the club turning down the chance to sign players of Dybala’s calibre.
