A pitch invader at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium made a pretty vain attempt to hide his identity as he ran across the pitch.
Tottenham kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City, the perfect way for Nuno Espirito Santo to distract from the ongoing speculation surrounding Harry Kane’s future.

The man spotted on the turf with his phone in hand clearly felt as though pulling his t-shirt above his nose would provide a disguise sufficient enough to prevent his identification.
It’s hard to imagine his attempts at pulling off a ‘no face, no case’ pitch invasion proving successful, with the fan in the picture unlikely to step into the confines of a football ground for a while.
You wonder why people bother running onto the pitch… how many of them get away with it?
