Tottenham and Arsenal set for January transfer battle over £33.6m Juventus star

Tottenham and Arsenal are reportedly set to go head-to-head for the signature of Juventus midfielder Dejan Kulusevski.

Both Antonio Conte and Mikel Arteta will be hoping to the idea of bringing in reinforcements this winter as they look to strengthen their bids to get back into the Premier League top four.

Judging by recent performances we’ve seen from Manchester United and West Ham, it could be a straight shootout between the North London clubs for the fourth spot, behind Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

If that proves to be the case, fine margins could separate them – and those yards could be gained in the transfer window next month as both clubs work on signing Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.

According to Football Italia, Spurs, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are ALL keen on signing Kulusevski off of Juve’s hands this January. It’s claimed a £33.6m fee could be enough to get him out the door.

Considering how difficult it is to sign quality players mid-season, you can understand why both Conte and Arteta are reportedly keen on adding the Swedish international to their squads.

We’ll have to wait and see which manager’s pursuit of Kulusevski proves fruitful, should the 21-year-old successfully force his way out of Juventus in January, as he intends to do, as per the report.
