Tommy Fury has reportedly been denied entry to the United States, throwing his upcoming bout with Jake Paul into serious doubt.

News broke merely last week that Fury had been granted a second opportunity to secure the biggest payday of his career to date by stepping into the ring with YouTuber Jake Paul.

The fight is scheduled to take place on August 6th, with the first press conference supposed to have been staged this week as the fighters ramp up their efforts to promote the PPV card.

However, there is now serious doubt over whether the fight will be taking place at all after Fury was denied entry to the United States as he and his team attempted to board a flight.

According to NSB, Tommy Fury, just like his brother Tyson, has been red-listed by the U.S due to the family’s alleged links to mob boss Daniel Kinahan and MTK Global.

It remains to be seen exactly what direct links Tommy had to Kinahan, if any, and whether there could be a compromise found with the U.S Embassy which would allow him to travel.

You can’t help but get the feeling that this fight is cursed and will never actually happen. The situation is developing, so updates are expected to arrive in due course.
