Todd Boehly set to build new “chill out room” for Chelsea players at Cobham 🎮

New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has pledged to build a “chill out room” for the club’s players to give Cobhham a more relaxed feel.

Amid the disastrous performances that the club have seen on the pitch lately, with the Blues winning just one of their last 11 games in all competitions, Boehly and manager Graham Potter are said to be leading this new initiative to build a chill out room for the players at the club’s training ground.

It is reported that specialist designers have been appointed to decorate walls with motivational speeches to add to the gym, swimming pool and rehab centre.

Potter is said to want the place to have a more relaxed feel for the players, who are preparing for a big clash with Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.

The chill out room, which is likely to have soft furnishings and video games, is likely to be an upgrade on surroundings for the likes of Reece James and Enzo Fernandez as the club’s players currently sit in the medical centre before training usually begins.

Chelsea need something to lift the mood of their players, who have a big couple of weeks ahead of them in terms of needing results if they want Potter to remain their manager, and a chill out room could be the perfect solution.
