🚨 Tipperary GAA Hit with a Heavy Fine After Breaking a Serious GAA Rule

Posted by

As preparation rap up all over the country ahead of the inter county season which is only weeks away, Offaly and Tipperary have been hit with a fine for playing a challenge game behind closed doors.

‘Tipperary and Offaly are facing €250 fines and a warning after an investigation into a hurling challenge between the counties in recent weeks. The GAA has prohibited challenge matches from taking place until January 1.’

As OurGame.ie and the Irish Independent report. No harm that these are handed out, the game is still amateur at the end of the day and it’s no harm that the GAA step in and try and pull it back. January is plenty of time to start inter county hurling.
