Antony could be in line to take the number 11 shirt from Mason Greenwood at Manchester United next season.
This is according to the Express (via The Sun), who say that Antony could inherit the jersey if Greenwood departs the club this summer.
The Englishman’s future is up in the air following the rape charges labelled against him in January 2022, with the charges dropped in February 2023.
Despite Antony’s lack of form since arriving at Old Trafford, it seems he could take the legendary No.11 shirt, previously worn by the likes of Anthony Martial, Edinson Cavani, Adnan Januzai, and United icon Ryan Giggs, so perhaps a new number for the Brazilian could give him some more luck next season.

Antony has just nine goals and three assists in his debut season in the Premier League – when he wore the No.11 at Ajax, he had 12 g/a in 23 league matches, so watch this space for the number swap.
