Pep Guardiola revealed he is certain that his former player Vincent Kompany will become Manchester City boss in the future.
Guardiola gave his verdict on the now-Burnley boss, saying that fate will land the Belgian boss at the Etihad once his time at Turf Moor is up.
“He will be back sooner or later.
“I think his destiny to become manager at Man City is already written in the stars. I don’t know when, but it’s going to happen.”
Kompany is doing great things with Burnley at the moment, guiding the Clarets to the top of the Championship, with the team picking up 76 points from 34 matches with it looking ever more likely the club will return to the Premier Leaguer at the first time of asking.
