In wake of Arsenal’s Europa League exit yesterday evening, the stats are looking pretty horrifying for manager Mikel Arteta.
Arteta was hanging on by a thread earlier in the campaign, with Arsenal closer to the relegation zone than they were even the Europa League qualification spots.

Arsenal are ninth in the Premier League, with Everton and Liverpool above them, as well as Aston Villa below, all having a game in hand over the Gunners.
The prospect of them getting into Europe via their league position is virtually non-existent, which leaves them set to play a season without European football for the first time since 1995/96.
2021-22 will be the first season since 1995-96 when Arsenal will not participate in European football.

You wonder just how much more Stan Kroenke will tolerate before handing Arteta his marching orders.
