The former Chelsea and now Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois wasn’t happy after their match vs Italy in the Nations League third place play-off. The Belgium shot stopper says that it’s all about money these games, saying that players don’t get enough time off and UEFA only care about lining their pockets.
Says the guy on nearly 300k a week, sorry but if you want more rest Thibaut Courtois then lower your wages, I think that would be a fair trade off? While the former Blue has a point, he has to realised it’s a short career and footballers are getting a lot of money!
