Well, despite Chelsea being close to signing both Raheem Sterling and Raphinha, Neymar’s international teammate Thiago Silva appears intent on making the move happen.
Quoted by Goal, Silva insisted that Neymar HAS to move to Stamford Bridge, “he has to go to Chelsea. If he is about to leave, then he must go there” the veteran told the press.
One Chelsea fan responded to the quote by sending Silva himself a message on Instagram, “Agent Silva,” suggesting that he was attempting to broker the move himself.
Silva certainly didn’t deny that was his intention, liking the comment on Instagram and dropping a major hint that his desire to get Neymar a move to Chelsea is very real.

Neymar has worked with Thomas Tuchel previously and his arrival would be a serious coup for the Boehly/Clearlake consortium, who recently took over Chelsea.
You still have to deem it unlikely that a transfer will materialise this summer, but as has been proven all too many times in football, you really can never say never…
