The Manchester United vice-chairman Ed Woodward will step down from his role within the club and according to The Daily Star,  it was due to the European Super League “one of the biggest mistakes of his professional career”.

Woodward telephoned Manchester United co-owner Joel Glazer on Tuesday to inform him that he would be announcing that he is standing down from his role within the club. It’s believed that Joel Glazer tried to talk him out of it, but the Englishman made his mind up and wanted to part ways with Old Trafford

Who will get the job now that Ed Woodward occupied? There’s no doubt that there will be some massive changes within all the clubs that were involved in this European Super League. Interesting times ahead.
