According to the Czech FA Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo has not beaten Josef Bican’s goalscoring record.

Juventus striker and all round football God – Cristiano Ronaldo –  reportedly became the greatest goalscorer in football history after he bagged his 760th professional, competitive goal in the 64th minute of Juve’s Supercoppa Italia clash with Napoli on Tuesday.

Well, the Czech FA have released a statement disputing the claim saying that Josef Bican still holds the record and Ronaldo is a long way off beating it.

The official Czech football governing body published a statement on Twitter claiming Bican’s tally is actually 821, and Ronaldo would have to score 62 more goals to become the top goalscorer in football history.
