The final two rounds of the Champions cup was called of our postponed this weekend and next weekend due to the French government deeming it now safe for it to go ahead and now there are questions being raised whether the final two rounds will be played at all.
That it could go straight to knock out. The tournament was rearranged this season due to ongoing pandemic with two pools, Pool A and Pool B with the top four teams were going to make up the quarter-finals and there was going to be a home and away legs just like the Champions League in football. How cool what that have been to see, one leg in Toulouse, the other in Thomond Park in Munster.

So far there was only two games played in the Champions Cup and Donal Lenihan was talking to RTE rugby and calling it a disaster if they scrap the home and away legs of the quarter finals and go straight to the semi-finals. Time will tell what the ERC do as the crisis continues across Europe.
