Josh Taylor’s controversial victory over Jack Catterall is officially under investigation by the authorities.
Catterall produced the performance of his life on Taylor’s home turf, which ought to have dethroned the Scotsman in the first defence of his undisputed championship.

We’ve seen a fair few dodgy points decisions in our time, but that might well top the lot, with Catterall being such a clear winner and still not being given the victory.

“The British Boxing Board of Control will be investigating the scoring of this contest and will advise accordingly.”
