Fans of both music and GAA – particularly those of a Dublin or Mayo persuasion – can breathe a huge sigh of relief.
They will not be forced to make a choice between soaking up the sounds in Stradbally and watching Saturday’s hotly anticipated All-Ireland SFC semi-final replay.
After the first match ended in a draw, fans of the two counties who were planning to attend Electric Picnic were faced with a terrible choice.
But fear not music-loving GAA supporters, this most eclectic of festivals has you covered.
The match has been added to the Saturday schedule of the Newstalk Lounge in the Mindfield Arena .
The festival organisers ahe aleady arranged to cater for hurling fans, with Irish language tent An Puball Gaeilge screening TG4 coverage of the All-Ireland hurling final on Sunday.
Both screenings are on a first come first served basis though, so we suggest getting the jersey on and heading over good and early.
Enjoy!
