Steven Gerrard Storms Off After Heated Press Conference

The former Liverpool captain and now Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard wasn’t one bit happy at full-time after his goalkeeper was attacked by some of the Manchester City supporters. The former Rangers manager let a two goal lead slip against Manchester City and if Villa managed to hold out Liverpool would have been crowned Premier League Champions.

Sadly for the Liverpool fans, it wasn’t meant to be. Gerrard has done an excellent job with the midlands club since coming in, earlier in the season. It will be an interesting summer for the former Red as he will look to strengthen his Villa side and try and move them even further up the table next season. Can he bring Luis Suarez to Birmingham..?
