Micah Richards Makes an Interesting Point Over Gerrard Appointment

The former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has been excellent since making his debut on Sky Sports as a pundit three years ago. The 33 year old made an interesting point with the appointment of Steven Gerrard as the new Aston Villa boss. Will Carragher protect Gerrard as much as Neville is with Solskjaer if results don’t go Gerrard’s way with the midlands club?

Steven Gerrard has taken up a three year contract with the Birmingham club, having left Rangers after four years in charge of the Glasgow side. It will definitely add excitement to the Premier League to see the former Liverpool captain back as a manager.
