The highly rated and former Aussie Rules player Stefan Okunbor made his debut for Kerry over the weekend as the kingdom defeated Limerick on a scoreline of Kerry 2-23 Limerick 0-06 at Austin Stack Park Tralee. The 22 year old was a Minor sensation and a lot of people down in Kerry will be excited to see this youngster develop. It was Jack O’Connor’s first game in charge of the Kingdom after his return to his second spell with the senior team.
Kerry haven’t won an All-Ireland since 2014, so it’s a famine for the a county that is mad about football, so big things will be expected from the Kingdom this year.
