GAA club round-up: Trillick and Breaffy move to finals as Dungannon edges ahead

Trillick MacCartan’s beat Coalisland Na Fianna in today’s semi-final of the Tyrone Senior Football Championship.

Trillick had a goal and point to spare as the final whistle blew in Healy Park, Omagh, as the final result came in with Trillick scoring 2-13 and Coalisland 1-12.

The team is now set to progress to the championship final.

Meanwhile, Breaffy beat out Westport in the Mayo Senior Football Championship semi-final.

The match in Elverys MacHale Park saw Breaffy move forward to the final with the final score of Breaffy 0-15 and Westport 0-13.

Dungannon also took on Errigal Ciaran in the Tyrone Senior Championship semi-final in Omagh, with a second goal by Errigal Ciaran scored during extra time giving them a temporary lead. Dungannon now leads as extra time continues.
