The FAI announced the new streaming service was launched in Dublin today.

More than 55 SSE Airtricity League and FAI Cup matches will be broadcast on the FAI’s new streaming service WATCHLOI.

The association will cover all production costs and all of the revenue generated by the service will go to the clubs involved.

All League of Ireland games will be played behind closed doors due to Covid-19 restrictions, but Irish fans will be able to buy season passes from €55, or pay per match. Season passes went on sale this morning on watchloi.ie.

The streaming service is a collaboration between the FAI, RTÉ Sport and GAAGO, the GAA’s international streaming website.

The SSE Airtricity League is due to resume on Friday July 31st as Derry City face-off against Sligo Rovers, with kick-off at 5.45pm.
