Armagh GAA club confirms no additional positive Covid tests

Killeavy GAA were forced to cancel their match on Friday evening after four players tested positive.

Armagh club Killeavy GAA has reported no further cases of Covid-19 among its players.

The club was due to play Granemore last Friday, but was forced to cancel the fixture when four of their players tested positive for the virus.

Killeavy suspended all activity on Thursday and advised all their senior players to get tested.

The club has since confirmed that they received 125 negative test results.

This comes after a number of clubs around the country were also forced to suspend training and matches due to players testing positive.

Clubs in Cork, Dublin, Down and Mayo are among those who have had players test positive for the virus since play resumed.
