News came out this week that Leinster coach and former South African coach Jacques Nienaber will not be making a return to South Africa for the Rugby World Cup preparations in 2027, as the former Springbok coach has signed a new contract with Leinster Rugby.

His family is way too settled there that my presumption is that it never looked likely he would return to the Bok camp anytime in the next couple of years, better chance of being the next Head Coach of Ireland when that opens up..
