Ole Gunnar Solskjaer accused of “killing” Man United players in scathing rant from pundit

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been accused of “killing” Manchester United players by former Premier League midfielder Jamie O’Hara.

Saturday’s Manchester derby defeat was just the latest in a string of uninspiring performances from United.

Solskjaer’s men looked to have turned a corner when they comfortably defeated Tottenham, but have reverted to type in the games since.

Their manager has subsequently found himself under scrutiny, with the general consensus being that Ole has taken Man United as far as he can.

One man who hasn’t been all too impressed with Solskjaer’s work as of late is Jamie O’Hara, who gave his view on the situation while speaking on talkSPORT.

“We’ve talked about this season and not having any excuses. Even Solskjaer came out and said, ‘No more excuses, we’ve got the team, we’ve got Ronaldo, we’re there’.”

“They’ve spent £70m on Sancho and the minute he plays for Solskjaer, he gets binned out the England squad! The guy is killing players. Van de Beek was a Ballon d’Or nominee and now he can’t even get a game!”

“That just goes under the radar. If that was Jose Mourinho, people would be knocking on his door saying, ‘What are you doing to this player?!’”

“Sancho is out of the England squad because of Solskjaer and it’s not good enough.”

Both Van de Beek and Sancho excelled prior to their moves to Man United, it’s why the club made the decision to invest over £100m into the pair of them.

The reality is that Solskjaer is unable to get the best out of this Man United squad, both as a collective and individuals. Van de Beek and Sancho should not be dragged down with him.
