Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has been absolutely rinsed by Sky Germany following his dismal start for the Red Devils.
Man United splashed out a reported £73m to sign Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, having pursued the Englishman for the best part of two years.
Irrespective of the expenditure, it looked like a great addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad, with Sancho establishing himself as one of the finest young talents on the planet with Dortmund.
However, Sancho has endured a torrid start to life as Man United player, having scored zero goals and provided zero assists in his opening seven Premier League appearances.
Sky Germany, who followed him closely during his time in the Bundesliga, couldn’t resist but to twist the knife into Sancho while discussing his slow start to life in Manchester.
Man United fans will have been left fearing that Sancho’s talent was merely hearsay, with the youngster having looked nothing like a £73m player in his opening seven Premier League games.
Of course, he ought to be given time to adapt to the pace of the league, but he may well have to be dropped to the substitutes if Solskjaer wants to have any chance of saving his job.
