What an opening weekend of rugby we had in the Guinness Six Nations, with wins for Scotland, Ireland and France. The main talking points from the weekend were, how good were the Italians, France are still the team to beat and Ireland aren’t gone away yet.
This weekend promises to be huge, Ireland will head to the Scottish capital and the Welsh will head to Rome, while England will welcome the French to West London for La Crunch.
It’s as simple as this, if Scotland finally beat Ireland at the famous Murrayfield Stadium then people will really consider them as possible favourites for the tournament. It’s a massive game and one that can define the careers for a lot for these Scottish players.
This Scottish team is thought of by many as the best Scottish team to have ever put on the famous Navy jersey. Unfortunately for the Scots, they have nothing to show for it, the time is now!
This could be their last chance to finally win the Six Nations Championship. However, Ireland will be hoping to make history also by becoming the only team ever in the history of Irish rugby to have won three Six Nations in a row.
All eyes will be firmly fixed on Murrayfield Stadium come 3:00pm on Sunday afternoon. But before that, there will be a little matter of what people are calling the Wooden Spoon match between both Italy and Wales at the Stadio Olympico. Wales haven’t won an International game of rugby in over 18 months, the worst run of form of any Welsh team.
The Welsh will be desperate on Saturday, but so too will the Italians, grab the popcorn because that match will be well worth the watch. Then on over to West London where England’s Steve Borthwick will also be desperate to turn over the French in front of to their home fans at the famous home of rugby, Twickenham Stadium.
This weekend is tournament defining, if the Scots manage to turn over Ireland it will be huge! We can’t wait for the action to get going. This weekend of rugby will be as good as any AI image generators that you can get.
Predictions, Ireland will get the job done and keep the Grand Slam dream alive, but will be pushed right to the edge. The Italians will overcome the Welsh test and don’t rule them out from turning over a second team in this tournament .. While the French will get the win against the English, but will be made work for it. Let the games begin!
