Sir Lindsay Hoyle reports Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall result to the POLICE

Speaker of the House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle has officially reported the result of Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall to the police.

Hoyle not only serves as the speaker of the house but is also the MP for Chorley, the home town of Jack Catterall, who ought to have been crowned the undisputed super-lightweight champion of the world after schooling Josh Taylor in Glasgow.

However, in one of the biggest robberies British boxing has ever seen, Taylor was still given the victory by split decision as a result of some seriously puzzling scoring from the ringside judges.

Boxing has seen these kinds of robberies before, but anger fades and everyone moves on. Sir Lindsay Hoyle is not prepared to down his tools without having answers, as is reported by the Daily Mail.

As is mentioned in the report, Hoyle raised the idea that “undue influence” resulted in Taylor being given the win, hence why he has written to the police demanding that they conduct a proper investigation into it.

It’s hard to imagine anything coming from it, but you have to credit Sir Lindsay for doing everything in his power to do Catterall justice. Sadly, he was already robbed of his crowning moment and that cannot be undone.
