Simon Jordan has admitted that he thinks Manchester United will always be bigger than Manchester City due to past success.
On Talksport this morning, Jordan said that the Red Devils are “undoubtedly” a larger club than the Cityzens, saying that he doesn’t care what people think of his opinion.
“Undeniably, unequivocally, undoubtedly, irrefutably, Manchester United are five times the club Man City are in terms of scale and reach.
“I don’t really care how well my thoughts go down, they’re not designed to go down well or badly, more so a reflection of the facts.”
Jordan then says that if City continue to achieve success at the rate they’re currently doing, they may eclipse United, but the Reds’ past global reach is keeping them on top for now.

“Over time, there is a distinct possibility that if City keep going at the rate they’re going, they will [eclipse United]. There is something, whether it’s from 1958, 1967, the 70s, or the fact they were the poster boys for the launch of the most powerful league in the world, United have built this legacy.”
