Simon Jordan makes STRONG Gabriel Jesus admission after striker’s injury

Before the World Cup began, Arsenal fans were clamouring for Gabriel Jesus to be included in Brazil’s squad for the World Cup squad after his excellent start to life at the Emirates where he has scored five goals and notched up five assists in the Premier League.

It would certainly have been a surprise not to see him on the plane to Qatar, with Arsenal sitting top of the league with 37 points from 14 games but he made it, alongside league counterparts Richarlison and Antony and also the likes of Neymar and Vinicius Jr.

However, Jesus’ World Cup dream was ended prematurely last week when he picked up a knee injury in Brazil’s 1-0 loss to Cameroon.

Despite the injury, Simon Jordan believes it won’t hamper Brazil too much.

He’s been a bit part player for Brazil, let’s be honest. He started the one game they got beat in, so it’s not been a great World Cup for him.

Tite didn’t pick him, Richarlison was starting ahead of him, so it is s pretty sorry state of affairs.”

It is a sad end to the tournament for Jesus, who will now need to rest up and recover to help Arsenal maintain their fantastic league form when the domestic side of things return.
