This morning on Talksport, Simon Jordan revealed what he thought about Billy Sharp’s post-match interview after his Sheffield United side beat Wrexham 3-1 in the FA Cup 4th Round replay.
Sharp spoke to ITV last night, saying how unhappy he was with the Wrexham players before the game, labeling them “disrespectful”.
🗣 "I think they've been disrespectful with a few things before the game, thinking they were already through. I'm glad we've beaten them."

Jordan wasn’t too sympathetic towards Sharp however, asking why he felt the need to “get wound up about a team they should have beaten the first time around?”
“I think football can be the most disrespectful sport in the world. The players and managers harp on about respect, yet they themselves rarely give any of it.”
🤷♂️ “I don’t understand why Sharp feels the need to worry about a team they should have beaten first time around.”
😡 “You’re 37-years-old, played in the PL, why in God’s name do you feel the need!?”

On Wrexham’s antics pre-match, Jordan said: “Wrexham look like they’re going to get promoted, they’re in good form so of course they’ll be full of themselves. They took a soon-to-be Premier League football club to a replay!”
With the 3-1 win, the Blades have set up an enticing home tie with Tottenham in the 5th round, which is set to be played on March 1st.
