Simon Jordan explains what he wants from Jude Bellingham after England display

Jude Bellingham and Jordan Henderson starred as England beat Senegal 3-0 yesterday evening to qualify for the quarter-finals, where they will face France on Saturday evening at Al Bayt Stadium.

The midfield duo were integral to the victory, with Bellingham full of praise for his team mate after the match.

Simon Jordan, however, wasn’t too keen on Bellingham’s exaltations for his fellow midfield partner.

Speaking on Talksport this morning, Jordan said: ”He [Bellingham] is 19 years of age, I’d prefer him to speak about his own game and focus on what he is doing.

If there’s a feeling that they need to defend Jordan Henderson, I think he performs a certain function. We will see when you’re up against a better midfield and when there are more requirements for England to do a different type of job whether Henderson is the right man.

If you are looking for a team that is going to dominate the midfield, I think Henderson may come up a bit short.”

Henderson will hope he can finally prove his critics wrong this weekend, with France vs England kicking off on Saturday at 19:00.
