Shane Duffy Speaks About the Hungary Players Refusing to take the Knee and it’s fans Booing the Irish Players

Shane Duffy put in a man of the match performance last night against Hungary in and the man from Derry was asked about the Hungary players refusing to take the knee and their supporters booing the Irish players for doing so.

“It’s a difficult time for everyone,” Duffy said after the stalemate. “We have our stances on it and we decided, as a nation, that we were going to do it and we stand by that.

“Everyone’s got their opinions but hopefully we made the right choice.”
